Troubleshooting

Sign-in (Google / Apple)

  • Update the app to the latest version.
  • Check device date/time and network (Wi-Fi vs mobile).
  • iOS: Settings β†’ your Apple ID β†’ Password & Security (Apple Sign-In allowed).
  • Android: Play Services updated; try removing/adding the Google account on device.
  • If it persists, email us with the time of the attempt so we can check logs.

Proof Upload / AI Verification

  • Ensure clear, real photos/screenshots that match the task's proof criteria.
  • Avoid filters, collages, or overly dark/blurred images.
  • Check network connectivity; try again if you briefly lost signal.
  • If you see repeated "not approved" and it seems wrong, re-capture with clearer framing.

Notifications

  • iOS: Settings β†’ DoProofly β†’ Notifications ON (Allow, Sounds, Badges).
  • Android: Settings β†’ Apps β†’ DoProofly β†’ Notifications ON; battery optimization OFF for DoProofly.
  • In-app: Settings β†’ Reminders ON; check reminder time and timezone.

App Crashes or Freezes

  • Force-quit and reopen.
  • Make sure you're on the latest version.
  • If reproducible, send us steps + time; crash logs help us fix it quickly.

  • Free: 1 active task, 2 total, up to 2 archived
  • Pro: 5 active, 10 total/archived, Phase system, richer stats

Manage / Cancel

Refunds

Handled by Apple or Google Play per their policies. We can't issue refunds directly.

Restore Purchases

  • In DoProofly: Menu β†’ Restore Purchases (requires the same Apple/Google account used to buy).
  • If it doesn't restore, reinstall the app and try again. Still stuck? Email us.

Data & Privacy Requests

We take privacy seriously. See our full policy at doproofly.com/privacy.

  • Export my data: Email subject "Data Export – DoProofly", include your user ID (Settings β†’ Account).
  • Delete my account/data: Email subject "Delete My Account – DoProofly". We'll guide identity confirmation and complete deletion.
  • Proof images: Processed only for verification and auto-deleted within minutes after analysis (typically ≀15 minutes).

What is DoProofly?

A proof-based habit tracker: you upload a photo/screenshot to confirm you actually did the task. AI verifies it.

Who can see my proofs?

No one. Proofs are machine-verified and not human-reviewed; then auto-deleted.

Why was my proof not approved?

It likely didn't clearly match the task's proof criteria (e.g., unclear/irrelevant). Re-capture with better framing or lighting.

Free vs Pro?

Free: 1 active / 2 total / up to 2 archived.
Pro: 5 active / 10 total & archived + Phase system + richer stats.

Monthly proof limit?

Both plans include 50 proofs/month by default.

Can I use DoProofly offline?

You can view tasks offline, but proof upload/verification needs internet. Offline attempts will queue until online.

How do I cancel?

From your App Store / Google Play account settings.

Refunds?

Handled by Apple/Google policies. We cannot process refunds directly.

Is my data safe?

Yes. We use Firebase security rules, HTTPS, App Check, and least-privilege access.
